Corinna Burri won the PSI Thesis Medal 2026
Corinna Burri, in the QPS group, at PSI, won the PSI Thesis Medal 2026 for her doctoral thesis entitled “Imaging and control of van der Waals layer stacking in 1T-TaS2 cryomemory devices”.
Corinna’s doctoral work represents the first in operando study of van der Waals devices making use of the micron beam sizes available at accelerator-based photon sources, such as the SLS or SwissFEL.
