Frédéric Mila received the Charpak-Ritz Prize 2024
Frédéric Mila professor at EPFL has been awarded the Charpak-Ritz Prize 2024 for his contributions to the theory of strongly correlated systems ranging from high-temperature superconductors to frustrated quantum magnets.
A condensed matter theorist at EPFL, Frédéric Mila collaborates continously with experimental research groups around the world. His cutting-edge work in the field of frustrated magnetism is widely recognised.
The Charpak-Ritz Prize created by the Société Française de Physique (SFP) and the Swiss Physical Society (SPS) rewards a physicist (or a small team of physicists) for an outstanding contribution to physics or its development.
