Fryderyk Lyzwa received the Springer thesis prize

The 2022 Springer Thesis prize in the field of physics was received by Fryderyk Lyzwa, who completed his PhD thesis entitled “Phononic and Electronic Excitations in Complex Oxides Studied with Advanced Infrared and Raman Spectroscopy Techniques” in the group of Professor Christian Bernhard at the University of Fribourg.

Each year the Springer Thesis prize is awarded to a PhD work to recognize its scientific excellence. The series brings together a selection of the very best PhD theses from around the world and across the physical sciences.
