Postdoctoral position in Theory – UNIGE, group of Prof. Thierry Giamarchi

The group led by Thierry Giamarchi in the Department of Quantum Matter Physics at the University of Geneva invites applications for a postdoctoral position in theory, starting in the fall 2026. The successful candidate will be appointed for a period of two years with possible extensions to a third year.

The subjects of interest of the group are on theory of quantum matter, both in a condensed matter and in a cold atomic context, with a special interest on strongly correlated low dimensional systems. Another line of research of the group is in the direction of the effects of disorder on quantum or classical systems.
