Aline Ramires received the Nevill F. Mott Prize

Aline Ramires received the Nevill F. Mott Prize this summer at the International Conference on Strongly Correlated Electron Systems 2022.

She received this prize “For her pioneering work for developing new models and innovative mathematical approaches for the description of heavy fermion metals and anomalous superconductors“.

Aline Ramires is an Ambizione Fellow at the Paul Scherrer Institute working on complex quantum materials. Her research focuses on developing theoretical tools and effective models for describing and optimizing exotic electronic states in solid-state systems. She has recently contributed to the areas of strongly correlated systems, van der Waals materials, and unconventional superconductivity.
